Tatiana Maslany plus a title like Maximum Pleasure Guaranteed was always going to get my attention, and the show delivers. She plays a recently divorced fact-checker in the middle of a custody battle who somehow tumbles into a mess of murder, blackmail, and — of all things — youth soccer politics. It’s a dark comedy created by David J. Rosen, sharply written with enough twists that you can’t quite predict where it’s going. Maslany is, as always, doing about four things at once and making it look easy. It’s streaming on Apple TV+. If you want something twisty and funny you can knock out fast, give it a shot.
