Okay, the premise on this one is bonkers in the best way. Yesteryear follows Natalie, a "tradwife" influencer whose whole brand is romanticizing an old-fashioned domestic life — until she wakes up actually stranded in the 19th century and has to survive the past she’s been selling. Caro Claire Burke’s debut is part satire, part suspense, and it’s already a Good Morning America Book Club pick (Anne Hathaway is set to star in and produce the film, which tells you something). I’ll leave the how and why for you to discover. If you like a book that skewers internet culture while still keeping you on edge, this is a fun, sharp one to pick up.
